When relationships break down, people call The Circle Lady™.
Conflict. Disconnection. Harm. Mistrust. Difficult conversations.
I’m Nikesha Tilton, known to many simply as The Circle Lady™.
I work with people and institutions navigating the moments when relationships matter most: when conflict is escalating, trust has eroded, harm has occurred, a community is struggling, or people simply do not know how to have the conversation that needs to happen.
Whether I’m working in a classroom, a courtroom, a boardroom, or a community center, the goal is the same:
Address what matters and move forward with greater understanding, accountability, and connection.
Organizations & Institutions I’ve Worked With
Across sectors, I’ve worked with organizations and institutions navigating pivotal moments where strategy, leadership, relationships, and crisis require clarity, care, and a path forward.

Most problems are not actually process problems.
They’re relationship problems.
A policy can establish expectations. It cannot create trust.
A strategic plan can establish direction. It cannot make people communicate.
A disciplinary process can establish consequences. It cannot repair harm.
A meeting can put people in the same room. It cannot guarantee an honest conversation.
And a program can introduce new practices without changing the way people actually relate to one another.
The work beneath the work is relational.
It is trust. Communication. Accountability. Conflict. Belonging. Power. Repair.
That is where The Circle Lady™ works.
Sometimes people need a different kind of space.
- A space where the difficult thing can actually be named.
- Where people can listen without immediately preparing their defense.
- Where accountability does not require humiliation.
- Where conflict can be examined instead of avoided.
- Where those most affected have meaningful voice.
- Where people can determine what moving forward actually requires.
That may happen through a restorative process, facilitated dialogue, mediation, training, strategic conversation, or another carefully designed experience.
The tool follows the need. Not the other way around.
Restorative practice is bigger than circles.
Circles matter. But a circle is not the outcome.
The deeper work is building people’s capacity to communicate honestly, navigate conflict, take responsibility, address harm, strengthen relationships, and solve problems together.
That is why the work cannot be reduced to a script, a talking piece, or a collection of activities.
Different people require different processes.
Different environments require different approaches.
The process must fit the people.
Classrooms. Courtrooms. Boardrooms. Communities.
The setting changes. The human work does not.

The conversation you’re avoiding may be the place the work needs to begin.
You do not need to know exactly what intervention, training, or process you need before reaching out.
Tell me what is happening.
We’ll start there.
